There are a number of very important events that our Knights will be involved with in the near term. Your help, participation and service are critical to making them all successful:
Advent
Advent is the season of spiritual preparation for Catholics to celebrate the coming of Jesus Christ, both his birth at Christmas and his anticipated second coming. As Knights, we can use this special time to both reflect and act on the principles of our Order – Charity, Unity and Fraternity.
Calling Tree – Where are our Knights
Several of our Knights are involved in making contact with all of the Knights that are members of our Council. Please reach out to any Knight you may know but have not seen in some time and wish them the best for this Blessed season. We are hoping to complete the Calling Tree effort this week.
Christmas Books
We are still looking for a few of our Brothers to be the leads for each of the Christmas Masses. All Knights are reminded to be a part of handing out our Christmas gift after each Mass to our Parishioners in appreciation of their support and generosity throughout the year.
Christmas of Light and Life Gala – December 12th
Annual Dinner will be on December 12th. If you wish to attend you will be reimbursed for up to $50/ticket. See flyer below for more information.
OMC Christmas Show – December 13th
Knights will be helping out at this wonderful and fun event. Please help if you can. More importantly, please attend with your family and friends for an exciting evening. See flyer below for more information.
Council Events
- Potluck Social: No Potluck Social this month, instead enjoy a Blessed Christmas with your friends and family
- January Council Meeting: No Council meeting in January due to the New Year festivities. If you have any Council business at any time, please contact me.
- January Breakfast Buffet: Cancelled for January. We will return with our new Breakfast Buffet plan on February 1st.
SK David Woodward, RIP
Please plan on joining us for the celebration of the life of Sir Knight David Woodward. The Honor Corps will there for his Mass that is scheduled for Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:30am. Fr. Mark Campbell is the celebrant.
Looking forward to all of the upcoming celebrations and events which are made better with the involvement of all of our Brother Knights.
