Call for Funds for Fr. Sylvester

From the desk of Br. John Ohle, Past Grand Knight:

At the 5PM this evening Fr Sylvester advised that he is required to return to Nigeria on Tuesday. Apparently there has been a sudden change with his Visa status. His desire is to get this situation cleared up in the next few months, and he very much wants to come back to this parish to continue his ministry. Nigeria is not a safe place for a Catholic Priest!

My Brothers, I hope you’re having a great week. Following up on our Worship Grand Knight Mike’s calls (below) for Deputy Grand Knight (2026-2027) Leadership Position, asking you to deeply consider stepping in to fill this critical Role: Assist the Grand Knight, preside over meetings in the WGK’s absence, and often oversee the Council’s service Programs and Membership Retention.

Where Are Our Knights

Dear Brothers,

Where are Our Knights

Our council has 120 Brother Knights in our official membership roster, yet we see only a few dozen on a regular basis.  There are many opportunities that we already have for visiting with our Brothers including Council Meetings, Breakfast Buffets, Potluck Socials, donation drives along with the many other times when we are together.  Even more importantly, we can easily reach out to our Knights at the celebration of Sunday Masses and other happenings within our Parish.

January Important Council Updates


Dear Brothers,

I pray that all our Brothers, family and friends had a Blessed and peaceful Christmas season through Advent, the birth of our Lord and the celebration of His Baptism by John the Baptist.  It is now the beginning of Ordinary time in the Catholic Church referring to the ordinal number of each Sunday although this will be anything but ordinary for our Council. I look forward to a dynamic and successful new year where all our Knights are fulfilled by their service to Our lord, their family, community and each other.
